Multifunctional Dust Suppression Truck (often referred to as a “fog cannon truck” or “dust suppression water truck”). It is by no means an ordinary water sprinkler truck, but rather a modern, multifunctional piece of specialized industrial equipment engineered with precision, capable of precisely controlling dust at its source. In terms of functionality, the dust suppression truck primarily possesses two core capabilities: road surface dust suppression and high-altitude mist spraying for dust suppression. Traditional water trucks primarily rely on spray nozzles or gravity-fed spray heads at the rear of the vehicle to moisten the ground. While this method effectively keeps transport roads and construction sites moist, it is powerless against microscopic dust particles already suspended in the air.
The rear of the dust suppression truck is equipped with a high-powered, high-altitude fog cannon (Fog Cannon / Mist Cannon), which uses a specialized fan system to atomize water into hundreds of millions of micron-sized water droplets. When the mist is sprayed into the air, the tiny water droplets collide with and bind to dust particles suspended in the air, causing them to settle naturally to the ground under the force of gravity. This “mist curtain” provides immediate air purification in high-dust areas such as mining blast zones, quarry crushing stations, and building demolition sites. Buyers can freely choose from mainstream heavy-duty truck chassis based on brand preferences and the availability of after-sales service in their target markets. Depending on the project scale, the water tank capacity of the dust suppression truck can be customized within a range of 5,000 liters (5 metric tons) to 20,000 liters (20 metric tons) or larger.
